The meteorologist’s Daughter

A coming of age story: Penelope was born with isobars on her body. These isobars were faint in her youth, and consistently grow more noticeable. Penelope’s isobars are strongly connected to the weather, to which she has no knowledge. it’s only upon the arrival of a huge thunderstorm does she come to realise the effects her isobars have on the weather, and the heavy responsibility that comes with this. When she does realises and ultimately welcomes her strength, she dives into the ocean with self acceptance, comfort and happiness in her newfound power.
